\u00a0Fond\u00e9 par Krishnamurti, le centre de retraite a ouvert ses portes en 1987. Il est situ\u00e9 sur un site de plus d’un hectare dans la magnifique campagne du Hampshire. Le Centre comprend 20 chambres individuelles avec salle de bains et deux appartements. La biblioth\u00e8que, le salon, la v\u00e9randa, les salles audiovisuelles, la salle \u00e0 manger, la cour int\u00e9rieure et une unique pi\u00e8ce d\u00e9di\u00e9e au silence, constituent les espaces communs. Tous les repas sont v\u00e9g\u00e9tariens, avec une option v\u00e9g\u00e9talienne. Il n’y a pas d’encadrement ou d’activit\u00e9 structur\u00e9e en dehors des retraites organis\u00e9es par le centre<\/a>. Les visiteurs peuvent organiser leur propre programme d’\u00e9tude, utiliser la biblioth\u00e8que, se promener dans le parc et dans les environs, ou discuter de mani\u00e8re informelle avec les autres personnes pr\u00e9sentes. Ceux qui veulent venir juste pour la journ\u00e9e sont \u00e9galement les bienvenus en ayant pr\u00e9alablement arrang\u00e9 leurs visites.<\/p>\n

\u00a0La collection de livres, d’enregistrements vid\u00e9o et audio du Centre est \u00e0 la disposition de tous les visiteurs. La biblioth\u00e8que contient des copies de tous les livres de Krishnamurti ainsi que nombreuses traductions. Il y a deux salles audiovisuelles et des tablettes et lecteurs MP3 sont \u00e0 la disposition des visiteurs. Des centaines de vid\u00e9os sont disponibles avec des sous-titres traduits dans diff\u00e9rentes langues. La boutique propose une grande s\u00e9lection d’ouvrages de Krishnamurti en anglais.<\/p>\n
