Krishnamurti contraria este movimento, dizendo que o essencial \u00e9 descobrir por n\u00f3s mesmos. Ele rejeita qualquer autoridade pr\u00f3pria de gurus, religi\u00f5es, psic\u00f3logos, fil\u00f3sofos e pol\u00edticos, afirmando que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 mestre e nem disc\u00edpulo. Ao contr\u00e1rio, ele sugere que n\u00f3s somos como dois amigos, talvez sentados num parque ou caminhando por uma calma alameda, conversando sobre os profundos problemas da vida amigavelmente, francamente e sossegadamente.<\/p>\n

Esta abordagem notavelmente direta e simples se reflete na linguagem que Krishnamurti usa. Pode parecer que os ensinamentos de Krishnamurti s\u00e3o intelectuais e que precisamos fazer um esfor\u00e7o para compreend\u00ea-los de forma cognitiva. Afinal, \u00e9 assim que geralmente somos ensinados a aprender, acumulando conhecimento e experi\u00eancia. Em discuss\u00f5es com pessoas de todas as esferas da vida, ele rejeita as respostas intelectuais de pensamento e mem\u00f3ria, buscando respostas genu\u00ednas que aprofundam a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o ou o encontram \u201cno mesmo n\u00edvel, com a mesma intensidade, ao mesmo tempo\u201d. S\u00f3 ent\u00e3o, ele afirma, o \u201cinsight\u201d e a nova compreens\u00e3o s\u00e3o poss\u00edveis. Naturalmente, dialogar com Krishnamurti n\u00e3o \u00e9 mais poss\u00edvel, assim, nosso desafio hoje \u00e9 nos engajarmos profundamente neste encontro ao ler ou assistir Krishnamurti ou ao ouvir o singular corpo de trabalho que ele deixou e usar suas palavras e nossas rela\u00e7\u00f5es como um espelho.<\/p>\n

Ele est\u00e1 agindo como um espelho para voc\u00ea olhar. Esse espelho n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma autoridade. Ele n\u00e3o tem autoridade, \u00e9 apenas um espelho. E quando voc\u00ea v\u00ea claramente, compreende o que v\u00ea nesse espelho, ent\u00e3o, o joga fora, o quebra.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Os ensinamentos de Krishnamurti s\u00e3o \u00fanicos em seu escopo, profundidade e abordagem. Vendo a presteza com que criamos ideias e conceitos, ele muitas vezes se recusou a definir ou expor os fundamentos da vida que ele explorava t\u00e3o radicalmente \u2013 liberdade, compaix\u00e3o, amor, religi\u00e3o, criatividade, para citar alguns \u2013 em termos positivos, em vez de abord\u00e1-los negativamente:<\/p>\n

De fato, o que \u00e9 religi\u00e3o? Para descobrir o que \u00e9 religi\u00e3o, devemos negar o que ela n\u00e3o \u00e9. Ent\u00e3o \u00e9 ela. O mesmo com o amor. O amor n\u00e3o \u00e9 \u00f3dio, ci\u00fame, ambi\u00e7\u00e3o ou viol\u00eancia \u2013 ent\u00e3o, quando voc\u00ea nega tudo isso, ali est\u00e1 a outra coisa, que \u00e9 compaix\u00e3o. Do mesmo modo, se voc\u00ea negar o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 religi\u00e3o, descobrir\u00e1 o que \u00e9 verdadeira religi\u00e3o; o que \u00e9 a mente verdadeiramente religiosa.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

O que \u00e9 esta nega\u00e7\u00e3o fundamental nos ensinamentos de Krishnamurti? Ela \u00e9 defin\u00edvel sem que se transforme numa ideia ou em algo a ser praticado? Pode ser t\u00e3o simples como ver o falso como falso e abandon\u00e1-lo.<\/p>\n

Isso traz a quest\u00e3o de ver, olhar ou observar. Est\u00e1 claro que n\u00f3s funcionamos a partir do passado, e realmente somos constitu\u00eddos do passado, assim, ao olhar o mundo, nossa vida ou um problema, podemos ver o novo, livres do passado, sem pensamento? Este ver sem o observador e a compreens\u00e3o de que o observador \u00e9 a coisa observada \u00e9 fundamental para a possibilidade de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o. De fato, a ilus\u00f3ria divis\u00e3o entre o observador e o observado pode mesmo ser a pr\u00f3pria divis\u00e3o e conflito em n\u00f3s mesmos e no mundo.<\/p>\n

\n

Quando se compreende realmente, n\u00e3o verbalmente, n\u00e3o intelectualmente, mas como uma realidade, como algo verdadeiro, ent\u00e3o voc\u00ea ver\u00e1 que quando o observador \u00e9 o observado, todo conflito chega ao fim e, consequentemente, toda nossa rela\u00e7\u00e3o um com o outro passa por uma transforma\u00e7\u00e3o radical.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u00c9 esta transforma\u00e7\u00e3o que Krishnamurti v\u00ea como t\u00e3o urgentemente necess\u00e1ria em n\u00f3s mesmos e, portanto, no mundo.<\/p>\n

Para onde quer olhemos, h\u00e1 problemas de todo o tipo. A mesma coisa \u00e9 frequentemente verdadeira em nossas rela\u00e7\u00f5es e na vida interior. Krishnamurti questiona nossa tend\u00eancia para tentar resolver estes problemas com o pensamento e com o tempo. Tempo e pensamento s\u00e3o sin\u00f4nimos para Krishnamurti, com o pensamento sempre sendo do passado e, portanto, limitado. Talvez o tempo seja o mais radical elemento em seus ensinamentos, contrariando as religi\u00f5es predominantes, t\u00e9cnicas e sistemas que promovem o tempo como meio de mudan\u00e7a: eu sou isto, eu me tornarei aquilo; o \u2018o que \u00e9\u2019 e \u2018o que deveria ser\u2019. A mudan\u00e7a como conhecemos implica um movimento no tempo, e esse movimento \u00e9 como cortar o ar com uma espada \u2013 nada faz, apenas produz um bocado de atividade. Mas quando voc\u00ea compreende todo o processo, as implica\u00e7\u00f5es e a significa\u00e7\u00e3o da mudan\u00e7a, e por isso deixa que se afaste de voc\u00ea, ver\u00e1 que a mente est\u00e1 num estado de sil\u00eancio em que todo o movimento do tempo cessou, e esse novo movimento de sil\u00eancio n\u00e3o \u00e9 reconhec\u00edvel e, portanto, n\u00e3o experiment\u00e1vel. Tal estado n\u00e3o demanda mudan\u00e7a; \u00e9 um movimento eterno e, por isso, est\u00e1 al\u00e9m do tempo. Rapidamente n\u00f3s formamos imagens sobre n\u00f3s mesmos e os outros, significando que nossas rela\u00e7\u00f5es acontecem atrav\u00e9s destas imagens. Podemos achar que isto traz seguran\u00e7a, ou pelo menos conveni\u00eancia, mas como apontou Krishnamurti:<\/p>\n

O pensamento constr\u00f3i muitas imagens, tanto internamente quanto externamente, em todas as nossas rela\u00e7\u00f5es, e por isso h\u00e1 uma divis\u00e3o na rela\u00e7\u00e3o que, invariavelmente, gera conflito e separa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No final, estas imagens, manifestando-se em pertencer a um pa\u00eds, religi\u00e3o ou grupo, causam os conflitos e guerras que vemos no mundo todo.<\/p>\n

Krishnamurti muitas vezes finaliza uma palestra ou uma s\u00e9rie de palestras abordando um aspecto da vida que, muitas vezes, mantemos \u00e0 dist\u00e2ncia: a morte. Ele fala de nossos apegos aos outros, a coisas e ideias, e v\u00ea a morte como o verdadeiro fim de tudo a que nos prendemos. Mas a morte \u00e9 uma coisa no fim da vida ou \u00e9 parte da vida em si? O desafio de Krishnamurti \u00e9 encerrar todo dia, a todo o momento, de modo que vivamos com esta \u201ccoisa tremenda chamada morte\u201d. S\u00f3 ent\u00e3o h\u00e1 um novo come\u00e7o.<\/p>\n

A morte \u00e9 um fim de todas as coisas a que voc\u00ea est\u00e1 apegado \u2013 sua mob\u00edlia, seu rosto, seus ideais, ou o que seja. Voc\u00ea trouxe esta coisa distante chamada morte para a a\u00e7\u00e3o imediata da vida, que \u00e9 o fim de seu apego. Assim, a morte significa uma renova\u00e7\u00e3o total, uma renova\u00e7\u00e3o total da mente que esteve presa no passado. Ent\u00e3o, a mente se torna incrivelmente viva, ela n\u00e3o fica vivendo no passado.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Por tr\u00e1s da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de Krishnamurti, nunca distante, est\u00e1 alguma coisa inomin\u00e1vel, imensur\u00e1vel, uma coisa que n\u00e3o pode ser conhecida ou mesmo experimentada. Este estado infinito, sem escolha \u00e9 algo que ele reluta em elaborar, reconhecendo que a humanidade sempre buscou algo \u2018al\u00e9m\u2019. Esse \u2018algo\u2019 \u00e9 alcan\u00e7ado por alguma abordagem conhecida? Krishnamurti afirma que n\u00e3o:<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o existe caminho para a verdade, apesar de todas as filosofias; pois a realidade \u00e9 o irreconhec\u00edvel, inomin\u00e1vel, inconceb\u00edvel.
